Babies are expensive. Need I say more?
But we love them and want to do everything possible for them. When my husband and I took a leap of faith and went to a one income home there were costs we really had to take a look at. Disposable diapers and wipes were a really big item. especially with two in diapers.
Switching to reusable cloth wipes seemed like an easy change to save a few bucks a month. But what was I suppose to soak them in to get those cute little bums clean? My mom to the rescue! I had no idea that she made my brother and I’s diaper wipes, but I was so glad that she did. I had a starting point to making my own solution.
Baby skin is very sensitive and my baby’s skin proved to be very very sensitive! We tweaked a few ingredients from my mother’s recipe and voila! allergy free, sensitive skin friendly and clean bottoms for these babies!
In this recipe I use coconut oil for it’s antimicrobial and moisturizing properties.
