The holiday season is officially in full swing! we started the first day of December with a fun and kid friendly activity. This craft is perfect for children 2 and up.
These ornaments turned out so cute and cheerful. The kids can choose to make them as colorful or designed as they would like. And for mom they’re very easy!

To do this project you will only need a few items:
- Metal Cookie Cutters (We chose Christmas shapes)
- Pearler Beads
- A Baking Sheet lined with parchment paper
- Ribbon
TIPS!
We Chose to leave our ornaments in the cookie cutters, but if you would prefer to use the cookie cutters again after this craft you can do that as well. You will just need to spray the cutters with cooking spray prior to filling with pearler beads.
- Fill the cookie cutters with pearler beads, so they are filled with a single layer. Our youngest did not do any patterning in her ornaments but my eldest chose her colors and patterns.
- Once cutters are filled play the baking tray in a 350oF oven for ten minutes.
- Allow these to cool completely before tying a ribbon in to hang, or removing them from the cutters.
- I found it was easy to use a sharp knife to create a hole to hang the ribbon.
These look beautiful on our own tree but would make wonderful homemade gifts as well.
